Dolina said that she is renting an apartment due to a lack of money to buy a new one. In Jurmala, she has two luxurious apartments, but she cannot use them either.

Singer Larisa Dolina is currently unable to purchase a new apartment, so she is renting a place. "There is somewhere to live. We are currently renting an apartment, for now. When we will be able to actually acquire our own housing is still unknown," said Dolina. She added that she has taken the lease for a long term and suggested that she might buy this apartment in the future.

The singer did not specify where her rented apartment is located, but mentioned that the area is good. She also reported that her cats moved in with her.

It was previously reported that singer Larisa Dolina may lose two apartments in Jurmala, Latvia, with a total value of over one million euros (or 95 million rubles). This was warned by lawyer Alexander Benkhin.

The lawyer reminded that the star cannot manage her real estate due to sanctions. Dolina's apartments have been frozen, which prevents her from paying utility bills or selling the property.

"As debts for utilities accumulate, the operating company or municipality may file a lawsuit and confiscate the property for unpaid debts after some time," explained Benkhin. He added that the Latvian parliament is discussing the possibility of nationalizing the property of Russians affected by sanctions.

At the same time, Dolina cannot pay off debts or sell the property through third parties either — this is considered a criminal offense. According to the lawyer, in such a situation, the singer can only sue the state and try to lift the sanctions by proving their groundlessness.

"A costly European lawyer is needed, but officially she cannot pay for one, and unofficially — this is again a criminal offense. Their fees are calculated in tens, if not hundreds of thousands of euros. There are special lawyers in Latvia licensed to work with sanctioned clients, but they are few," noted Benkhin.
