Psychiatrist Warns of the Dangers of Watching Accelerated Videos

Forgetfulness arises from watching accelerated videos.

Psychiatrist Tales Alberto warned that watching videos and playing audio recordings at an accelerated speed negatively affects the brain. He discussed the dangers of this habit in an interview with Metropoles.

According to Alberto, when the brain becomes accustomed to the accelerated mode, it loses the ability to cope with situations that occur in everyday life. Such mundane actions as listening to a conversation partner or waiting for a situation to develop begin to cause discomfort, he emphasized.

Additionally, symptoms such as difficulties with concentration and irritability may be observed because the brain is already trained to function at a very high speed. Forgetfulness also emerges in individuals. The issue is that when watching videos and listening to audio recordings at an accelerated pace, the brain receives more information than it can process, Alberto explained.

Previously, psychiatrist Pedro Leopoldo urged people to adopt several habits to strengthen mental health. He advised eliminating insomnia, as it disrupts emotional balance and increases irritability.
