Armand Krauze found only a couple of Latvian products.
Former Minister of Agriculture Armand Krauze, who recently regained his parliamentary powers, stopped by the “impromptu” café in the Saeima. The fact is that there has long been no café, bar, or even cafeteria within the walls of the Saeima. If the servants of the people, as well as the employees of the Saeima, want to have a snack, they have two options - either dash out of the Saeima building and enter some catering establishment in Old Riga, or... use the “self-service” option in the Saeima. This self-service corner consists of a refrigerator containing sandwiches and other snacks, as well as various non-alcoholic beverages. Upon visiting this corner, Deputy Krauze... found no Latvian products. To be precise, there were only two products made in Latvia: some refreshing drink and something like a chocolate bar. The other products were made in Lithuania and Poland.
“In the Saeima of Latvia, there are practically no Latvian products! How much worse can it get?!” the politician lamented on social media.
