A few years ago, the secret of former Latvian President Guntis Ulmanis was revealed — an extramarital affair that resulted in him having two daughters with his former student Dīnija Lora. Now, details of the relationship between the daughters and their father have been published in the magazine Īsti stāsti.
The chosen one, with whom Guntis Ulmanis was unfaithful to his long-time partner Aina Ulmane, is entrepreneur Dīnija Lora. She gave birth to their first daughter at the age of 30, and eight years later their second daughter was born — this confirms that their relationship was not fleeting, writes tautaruna.lv.
Guntis Ulmanis met Dīnija during lectures — he was a guest lecturer only once, but this meeting turned out to be fateful. A mutual attraction arose between them, which, as it turned out, connected them for life — for the sake of raising their common children.
Both daughters — Gunvila and Kterina — describe their father as very caring and involved. Although they do not spend everyday life with him, former President of Latvia Guntis Ulmanis, according to the girls, is always present during important life moments and dedicates a lot of time to them.
Entrepreneur Dīnija Lora notes that she and Ulmanis are no longer connected by romantic relationships — only respectful ties remain between them, united by concern for their two common daughters, for whom they share equal responsibility. At the same time, Ulmanis's and Lora's daughters do not maintain contact with their half-siblings — the children of Guntis and Aina Ulmane.
