Hollywood actress and director Angelina Jolie has put her historic estate up for sale and plans to split her time between New York, Europe, and Cambodia, taking a step towards a more private life after finalizing her divorce from Brad Pitt.
Plans and Relocation
Angelina Jolie, 50, is preparing for significant changes. She has decided to leave Los Angeles and reduce her ties to Hollywood, seeking a more private and diverse life outside the United States. Jolie has put her historic estate, valued at $25 million, up for sale, where she has lived since 2016.
The actress's plans for 2026 include splitting her time between several locations: New York, where she has a fashion project Atelier Jolie, Europe — as a more private space, and Cambodia, where Jolie holds citizenship and has long personal and professional ties.
The decision to relocate is linked to her desire to distance herself from life dramas and focus on projects that deeply resonate with her interests and passions. The move also coincides with the conclusion of her lengthy divorce from Brad Pitt, which was finalized in December 2024 after years of legal battles.
Previously, Jolie noted that she remained in Los Angeles mainly for the sake of her children. With the youngest of them reaching adulthood, the actress is gaining more freedom to move and plan her future outside the city where she has spent most of her life and career.
A New Stage in Life
Angelina Jolie will continue to work on creative projects and focus on her family; however, the new stage of her life will be associated with a more global way of living, divided between several countries and continents, away from the constant attention of Hollywood.
