American singer Beyoncé is now a billionaire, Forbes magazine reported on Monday, according to LETA citing AFP.
44-year-old Beyoncé has become the fifth musical artist to reach this milestone. Before her, billionaires included her husband, rapper Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna.
Beyoncé became a billionaire after several very successful years. In 2023, her world tour Renaissance brought in about $600 million.
In February, at the Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, Beyoncé won the award for Album of the Year for her record Cowboy Carter. This was her first win in this category.
Beyoncé's world tour became the most profitable among all musical tours organized in 2025.
By summing the income from this tour with profits from her music catalog and other deals, Forbes estimated that Beyoncé earned $148 million before taxes this year.
However, Forbes did not provide an exact estimate of Beyoncé's net worth.
Although Beyoncé has expanded her business empire with ventures such as a hair care brand, a whiskey label, and a clothing line, the majority of her personal fortune, according to Forbes, still comes from music income, global tours, and control over the rights to her own music catalog.
