Fergie Met with Black Eyed Peas Members for the First Time in 15 Years

Fergie shared photos on social media featuring herself with Black Eyed Peas members — will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo. The musicians gathered together to celebrate several milestones that fell this year.

“We finally managed to gather around the table and celebrate our birthdays together,” wrote Fergie, who turned 50 on March 27. Will.i.am celebrated his milestone on March 15, Taboo marked his 50th birthday on July 14, and apl.de.ap turned 51 on November 28.

Later, the singer added another caption to the photos, calling the meeting “a special evening” filled with love and warmth. Will.i.am reacted to the post with an emotional comment: “The best of all!!! And I’m so happy…”. Taboo wrote that it was a “wonderful way to kick off the holiday season with family,” while apl.de.ap noted that he was glad to celebrate milestones with people with whom he has shared so many important moments. The official Black Eyed Peas account also joined in the congratulations, emphasizing that significant events feel different when shared with family.

The Band's History and Fergie's Involvement

Will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo founded Black Eyed Peas in 1995. Fergie joined the group in 2002, two years after vocalist Kim Hill left. With this lineup, the band released four albums: Elephunk (2003), Monkey Business (2005), The E.N.D. (2009), and The Beginning (2010).

In 2011, Black Eyed Peas took a creative break that lasted until 2015. After their return, the group continued with a different vocalist.
