Doctor Myasnikov stated that he was surprised by his patient's communication with the nutritionist.
Doctor and TV host Alexander Myasnikov spoke about a case that greatly surprised him.
Myasnikov recalled that one day a 25-year-old patient came to his clinic. The man underwent all the necessary tests, and his results were normal. After that, he decided to get a comment on his tests from his nutritionist. The doctor clarified that the patient was speaking with the specialist on speakerphone in his presence.
"I start to feel my hair stand on end. [He has] good cholesterol — he is told to lower it. 'And your protein is 72' — and that’s normal, — 'but I would like to see 76.' Why 76? 'And ALT — a liver indicator — is reduced in your case.' Which is good. So he is saying things that are absolutely contradictory to any medical postulate," Myasnikov described this case from his practice.
At the same time, the doctor emphasized that the nutritionist gave the man the correct advice related to nutrition.
