A model from Siberia ended up in slavery in a scam center in Myanmar.
A Russian model fell for a job scam in Thailand and ended up in slavery in Myanmar. Reports indicate that the girl from Siberia went to earn money in the Asian country, where she was kidnapped and taken to the city of Yangon. The Russian citizen had her documents confiscated, and then she was made a slave in a scam center along with other captives — in total, the criminals are holding about 200 people by force. Those who refuse to work are tortured with electric shocks.
Currently, the center, which specializes in the sale of human organs, is under threat of shelling due to the military conflict between militants and soldiers at the border of the two countries. The slave owners have taken the captives to the jungle.
According to human rights activists, the bandits demanded $10,000 for the freedom of the Russian citizen, which she cannot pay. Russian diplomats in Myanmar and Thailand have been notified of the kidnapping.
