Mila Kunis Explained Why She Only Acts in One Film a Year

The actress consciously adheres to a strict schedule for the sake of her family.

At the premiere of the film "Knives Out: Wake Up, Corpse," Mila Kunis explained why audiences see her on screen in only one project a year. The actress admitted that she has long changed her pace of life and prioritizes family over career ambitions.

Kunis emphasized that she only goes on set during her children's school holidays — otherwise, she says, she would have to sacrifice the time she wants to spend with her family. This approach allows her to stay in the profession while not missing important moments in her loved ones' lives. This was reported by People.

"I act in one film a year because I only work when the kids are on vacation. So you will continue to see me in one film a year," said the 42-year-old actress.

The regularity is indeed impressive:

2024 — film "Father of the Year"

2023 — series "The '90s Show"

2022 — "The Luckiest Girl Alive"

The star adheres to almost "calendar precision," not deviating from her own rules.

Soon, fans will be able to see the actress in the premiere of "Rise, Corpse: The Mystery of Knives Out," which will be released in theaters on November 26, and will be available on Netflix on December 12.
