Ukrainian singer Svetlana Loboda shared in a new interview how her life has changed since the start of the war and where she feels at home. According to the artist, her family now lives in Latvia, and this country has become a place of safety and stability for her.
"Homeland is Ukraine. And my home is where my children, my family live," emphasized Svetlana Loboda in an interview on the YouTube channel 'Rada i torki'. The artist currently lives in Riga with her two daughters. The singer says she has found what is most important to her today — a sense of security and peace for her children.
Loboda thanked Latvia for its support: "I am very grateful to this country for accepting us so warmly, for the fact that when I go on tour, my children are safe there," said the singer.
The artist's family lives in a constant state of moving: Svetlana's mother spends one month in Ukraine with the singer's father, and then comes to Riga for a month to help with the children. The family is also assisted by nannies from Ukraine in caring for the girls.
According to Loboda, the safety of her children became the main criterion for choosing a place to live: "The most important thing when you leave to work is to know that everything is fine with the children. Latvia, at least until today, has given me everything I need in this regard," she noted.
