Daniel Radcliffe Supported the New Harry Potter with a Letter

British actor Daniel Radcliffe, famous for his role as the young wizard in the cult film franchise, reached out with a letter to Dominic MacLachlan, who will play Harry Potter in the television adaptation of J.K. Rowling's works. Radcliffe shared this during an appearance on Good Morning America.

The actor explained that he wrote the message to support his young colleague and wish him success in working on the project. Radcliffe emphasized that he does not seek to impose advice but considers it important to share his experience and warm wishes.

Upon receiving the letter, MacLachlan responded to Radcliffe with a warm message. The actor noted that watching the new generation of performers, who seem very young to him, evokes special feelings, as he himself started his career at the same age.

In the television version of the story about the school of wizardry, the main roles will be played by Arabella Stanhope (Hermione Granger) and Alastair Stout (Ron Weasley). The project also involves recognized actors: John Lithgow as the headmaster of Hogwarts, Paapa Essiedu as Professor Snape, and Nick Frost as the Keeper of Keys.

The series is being produced by HBO, with plans for seven seasons corresponding to the original book series. The premiere is scheduled for 2027, and filming is taking place on a specially equipped site in the UK, where the atmosphere of the magical world is being recreated.
