"If they send some interesting cultural product – I will take a look, but for now, there is none."
The leader of the band "Leningrad", Sergey Shnurov, stated that he does not see any outstanding creative results from artists who have left Russia.
"I am probably the only person who does not think about them at all. For me, this topic simply does not exist. They are adults, they made their decision, they live as they want," said Shnurov.
He noted that there is currently no interesting cultural product from the artists who have left.
"If they send some interesting cultural product – I will take a look, but for now, there is none," said the leader of the band "Leningrad".
The musician emphasized that he does not support the discussion of the situation with the artists who have left and does not share public debates on this matter. He observed that society is currently divided into two camps: some believe that the artists who left have completely disappeared, while others think they have become superstars. According to Shnurov, such a division is more related to a humorous assessment of the situation.
Shnurov added that he does not consider himself a supporter of either position and prefers to focus on his own creative plans. He mentioned that he is busy working on an album, music, concerts, and new ideas, emphasizing that the place of residence of other artists does not matter to him.
Sergey Shnurov supported the court's decision to restrict access for teenagers to five songs by "Leningrad" due to their adult content.
Shnurov previously considered the initiative to ban swearing in Russia pointless and was willing to pay fines to preserve the full version of the Russian language.
Artist and deputy Dmitry Pevtsov urged artists who have left Russia not to spread negative statements about the country and to focus on their creativity.
