Actor Roman Popov has died at the age of 41, reported concert director Ilya Novikov.
In August, the artist admitted in his Telegram channel that he had a relapse of brain cancer. He managed to overcome the illness five years ago, but it returned painfully. The artist also noted that he went blind in one eye due to the relapse.
On October 11, the actor was taken to the hospital in serious condition, where emergency surgery was performed, discovering a perforated gastric ulcer. After that, Roman fell into a coma. Today at 13:15, the artist's heart stopped.
Popov was born in 1985 in Konotop. He played in KVN and was a resident of 'Comedy Club'. He appeared in more than 30 projects, including roles in the series 'Police Officer from Rublyovka' and 'Mukich's Detective Agency'. He is survived by his wife and three children.
