The Victoria's Secret show took place in New York — the second after a long hiatus. Dozens of world-class supermodels participated in the iconic lingerie brand's runway, including Irina Shayk.
The Russian model showcased a scarlet lingerie set, complemented by a floor-length skirt and flower petals over her shoulders instead of wings. Later, Irina returned to the runway wearing a white sheer set with a corset and a rhinestone-embellished bow on her chest, as well as a feathered headpiece in the style of cabaret or burlesque.
For the 39-year-old Russian supermodel, this is her third runway appearance as an 'angel' — her previous appearance was a year ago. Her debut occurred in 2016 when the model walked the runway while pregnant.
"The last time I participated in the Victoria's Secret show, I was in my fourth or fifth month of pregnancy. So here I am, back... And my daughter will probably watch it later," Irina Shayk told reporters a year ago during preparations for the show.
Irina Shayk was born in the Chelyabinsk region, in the city of Yemanzhelinsk. She entered the modeling business at the age of 20 thanks to scout Gia Jikidze. From 2015 to 2019, Shayk dated Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper. On March 21, 2017, the celebrities welcomed their daughter Leah, but soon after, they separated. The stars now co-parent the girl.
