Participant of the show "Celebrities. No Filter", trainer and former participant of "Eurovision" from Latvia, Alexandra Kurusova, is ready for change — she decided to change her hairstyle. During her visit to the salon, Alexandra and the hairdresser discussed different beauty standards and how natural or artificial they can be, writes Kokteilis.
Alexandra admitted that she feels nervous about the upcoming changes, but she is confident that the new haircut will suit her.
"If you’re going to cut, then cut. Hair isn’t teeth; it will grow back!" she says with a smile. Before starting on the new style, the hairdresser noted that she needed to grow her hair a bit to create a more voluminous effect.
Speaking about artificial beauty, Alexandra honestly confessed that she is not at all shy about hair extensions:
"I think that in our time, getting hair extensions is normal. Most of the women who come to my training sessions also have extensions. The phrase 'artificial beauty' sounds negative and is not very pleasant, but if you do something that improves your well-being — why not? If you look prettier and gain more confidence — then why give that up?"
She added that she generally does not consider herself too artificial, but if you look at it globally, there is quite a lot:
"I have artificial nails, artificial eyelashes. At one point, I had lip fillers — and I’m not ashamed of that. The truth is, they have all worn off, so I need to update them. My hair is also extended. I don’t hide that I go to the tanning salon — about once every two weeks. This vitamin D really improves my well-being."
With humor, Alexandra added that her breasts are natural:
"All of this is mine! After I gained 6 kilograms, I now have some here (in the chest) and there (in the buttocks). I would never get huge breasts for myself. My man is now very pleased that I have more curves. I can feel those 6 kilograms, but if a close person says that he likes that I have become more feminine, prettier, and he really supports you — you start to look at yourself differently."
