Latvian singer Liene Greifane recently celebrated a milestone birthday in the USA, but at this beautiful moment her heart was full of sadness, writes Santa.lv, citing Privātā Dzīve.
Singer and mother of three sons Liene Greifane currently lives in the USA, in Nashville, Tennessee, and celebrated her 40th birthday on October 5. Liene lives with her American husband Mike Pence and their two-year-old son Leo from a previous marriage. Although in a conversation with Privātā Dzīve Liene admitted that everything is fine for her in America and her husband is trying hard to please her, she does not hide that on the day of the celebration, her heart was heavy because her closest people were not nearby.
For the last two years, Liene celebrated her birthday together with her eldest son Sebastian — they were born on the same day.
"This year my son is already 20 years old. I love my children very much, and the opportunity to celebrate with them makes me happy. This year I could only celebrate with my youngest son Leo because Sebastian has his own plans with friends, and Christopher, unfortunately, lives in Latvia," Greifane said.
Christopher is Liene's middle child, a son from her marriage to her ex-husband Igor Greifane, who turned 11 in August. After more than ten years of marriage, Liene and Igor's marriage was dissolved last year. She moved to the USA with her youngest son, while Igor and Christopher stayed in Latvia. Therefore, if everything goes well, she will only be able to hug her son at Christmas when schoolchildren have holidays and he might come to America. "I miss my son the most. I am really looking forward to meeting him. God willing," Liene said.
