Woman found a splinter in purchased diapers for her 11-month-old child

A resident of Moscow found a splinter in diapers bought for her 11-month-old child. The splinter embedded itself in the boy's buttocks.

The city dweller noted that she bought MANU training pants at the "Detsky Mir" store. When the diaper was removed, the mother discovered a 1-centimeter splinter on the child's body.

The mother suggested that the splinter could have entered the infant's body from the diapers — while feeling the product, she noticed remnants of splinters.

The parents went to the trauma center, where a surgeon removed the splinter from the baby's buttock. Doctors advised always to feel each diaper before use, not just to visually inspect it.
