Treasure hunters have found gold and silver coins off the coast of Florida (USA). They sank along with the Spanish ships carrying them in 1715.
A group of divers from a shipwreck recovery company in the waters of the Atlantic coast of Florida discovered treasures worth a million dollars.
The gold and silver coins and other rare artifacts were aboard a Spanish galleon. Notably, the coins are well preserved: many clearly display the minting dates and marks of the mints.
The discovery was made last summer, but the company 1715 Fleet - Queens Jewels LLC announced it this week.
