On August 21, the Latvian premiere of Teatro Delusio - the legendary production and calling card of the world-renowned German troupe Familie Flöz - will take place at the Dzintari concert hall. The performance will be shown as part of the international project Baltijas Balva / Baltic Awards.
Over the years, Teatro Delusio has been performed more than 600 times in 29 countries around the world - from Italy and France to Japan, South Korea, and South America. The production has triumphantly participated in the largest international theater festivals and is now considered one of the most famous works of Familie Flöz - a troupe that critics call a unique phenomenon of contemporary European theater.
However, according to opera singer and chairwoman of the selection committee for the Baltijas Balva / Baltic Awards project Inessa Galante, no descriptions can convey the effect this performance has on the audience.
“Teatro Delusio is one of those rare performances that leave people exiting the hall absolutely happy. I have seen a huge number of theatrical productions around the world, but something completely special happens here. You laugh almost the entire performance, and then suddenly you catch yourself feeling very deep emotions and thoughts about your own life,” says Inessa Galante.
