Ariana Grande has announced a new release: the singer is preparing to release her eighth studio album titled Petal. Along with the announcement, the artist revealed the cover of the upcoming record.
The album was created in collaboration with Grande's longtime partner – Swedish producer and composer Illya Salmanzade. According to the singer, the new material will be a personal statement: she describes it as "something full of life, breaking through the cracks of something cold, hard, and complex."
The release of Petal is planned for mid-summer. Concurrently with the album's release, the artist will embark on the Eternal Sunshine tour. According to the plan, it will begin on June 6 in Oakland and conclude on September 1 with a concert at The O2 Arena in London.
The upcoming performances will be Grande's first in the last seven years. Grande paused her music career when she decided to try her hand at acting.
