The Trump Organization announced plans to build a 70-story skyscraper in Tbilisi, which is set to become the tallest building in Georgia.
The new skyscraper is planned as the central element of a large multifunctional complex near Central Park in northwestern Tbilisi. The project includes elite residential residences, a premium shopping gallery, high-end restaurants, and a carefully designed infrastructure for living and recreation. Developers are positioning the complex as a new standard of luxurious urban environment and a symbol of Tbilisi's growing international status.
According to the Trump Organization, the tower will become a new symbol of the country and the tallest building in Georgia, surpassing the current record holder — the Alliance Centropolis Tower C in Batumi, which stands at 210 meters tall.
"The name Trump is associated with some of the most luxurious development projects in the world, and Trump Tower Tbilisi continues that legacy," said Eric Trump, executive vice president of the organization. He noted that the company is proud to enter the Georgian market and collaborate with local and international partners.
The project will be the first Trump Organization property in the region. The company, owned by Donald Trump and managed by his son Eric Trump, is engaged in the construction and licensing of residential and hotel properties worldwide.
The new project in Tbilisi will be another addition to the Trump Tower lineup. The first tower under this brand was opened in New York in 1983 and reached a height of 202 meters. Later, Trump World Tower in New York (262 meters), Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago, as well as projects in Istanbul and Panama followed.
