Easter holidays are a great time to get outdoors and enjoy spring break! The Salaspils District Tourist Information Center invites everyone, especially families with children, to participate in the exciting event "12 Easter Bunny Route Hunts," which will take place on Dole Island until April 6 this year.
During the holiday, 12 colorful Easter bunnies will be "hidden" on Dole Island, and participants' task will be to find them by completing tasks and exploring the surroundings. This is a wonderful opportunity to leisurely enjoy nature, spend time together, and actively celebrate Easter.
The route, which is 8–11 kilometers long, can be walked or cycled at your own pace. You can start the route from anywhere, adapting it to your desires and capabilities.
Each bunny is a work of art: they were painted last year by students of the Salaspils School of Music and Art. Each has its own character and color scheme, but the unifying motif is the archaeological symbol of the Livonian bird. In the search for bunnies, you will not only enjoy the game but also admire the artworks.
