The hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Austria this year, will be Victoria Swarovski, the heiress of the Swarovski empire, and actor Michael Ostrowski.
In the contest, which will take place for the 70th time this year, 35 countries will participate. Spain, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Slovenia are boycotting the contest because Israel is allowed to participate.
The Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Vienna for the third time. The capital of Austria also hosted the contest in 1967 and 2015. The semifinals will take place on May 12 and 14, and the final will be on May 16 at the Vienna City Hall.
Last year, an estimated 170 million people watched Eurovision on television. The contest was held in the Swiss city of Basel, and the winner was Austrian singer "JJ" with the song "Wasted Love."
Swarovski has hosted the German dance show "Let's Dance" for several years, and Michael Ostrowski has appeared in more than 40 films.
