Homeless dogs will be fed confiscated fish 0 8

The bill proposes the free transfer of seized fish to homeless dogs starting from January 2024, with fish that cannot be returned to the sea being used.

“Currently, such fish products are simply destroyed, although they can be beneficial. This is especially relevant for shelters where homeless animals are located,” noted Oksana Gerasimova, chairwoman of the Committee on Natural Resources of the Kamchatka Parliament.

Additionally, the bill will help address issues related to the storage and maintenance of seized fish, as well as reduce budget expenditures for these purposes.
