Plants That Should Not Be Planted Together

Two plants that suppress their neighbors.

Some plants look great together and have similar growth requirements. Such crops can coexist without problems and will not interfere with each other.

However, there are plants that should categorically not be planted next to each other, as they do not get along well.

Plants of the same height will not "get along" in the same bed or flowerbed. It is also not advisable to plant members of the same family next to each other. For example, umbrella plants will quickly "fall out" with each other. Fennel and wormwood suppress everyone without exception.

Pairs of Plants That Coexist Well Together

1. Carrots and onions. These plants protect each other from carrot and onion flies.

2. Cabbage and celery. They reliably resist many pests and diseases.

3. Cucumbers and dill. These plants coexist well together.

4. Basil and tomatoes will "take care" of each other.

5. Kohlrabi and lettuce coexist well in the same row.

6. Cucumbers that climb on corn feel great and bear fruit until the cold.

7. Beans will get along well with cucumbers and tomatoes.

8. Radishes should be sown where zucchini and other late vegetables will be planted later.
