What are the advantages of lupin?
“White lupin is an excellent alternative to soy, as it is undemanding in terms of growing conditions, does not require significant doses of mineral fertilizers, and is capable of producing large volumes of green mass and grain with a high protein content (35-45% in the grain and 18-20% in the green mass). While the protein content in soybean seeds averages 38-42%,” noted biologist Albina PODBEREZKINA.
“Additionally, the grain and green mass of lupin contain fats made up of unsaturated fatty acids, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins, and other compounds that are necessary for animal feed and contribute to improved digestion in animals and birds.”
