Dyeing eggs using onion peel is one of the simplest and most popular methods.
Eggs acquire a reddish-brown-yellow hue, which depends on the type of onion and the color of the peel, noted technician-technologist, chef Alexey SULIMA.
Beet juice will help dye eggs pink, while spinach (both fresh and frozen) can be used to achieve a green shade.
Blue and purple shades can be obtained using blueberries, lingonberries, or huckleberries (the berries should be frozen from last year) or by using leaves of red cabbage. Interestingly, the broth will be red, but the eggs will be dyed blue (purple, blue).
