Do all plants release oxygen?

Almost yes.

All green plants containing chlorophyll, as well as algae that use other pigments for photosynthesis, release oxygen in light. The only exceptions are those plants that have fully adapted to a parasitic lifestyle and have lost the ability to photosynthesize. Such plants include, for example, dodder, broomrape, bird's-nest orchid, and Peter's cross (in the photo).
