A Japanese group of scientists found that one simple technique helps control feelings of anger.
The essence of the method is to write down negative emotions caused by a specific event on paper, and then tear that sheet into small pieces and throw it away.
Scientists hypothesized that this approach would help at least partially suppress anger. However, they were pleasantly surprised by the results. It turned out that after conducting the experiment, anger completely disappeared. This was reported on the MedicalXpress portal.
During the study, one group of students was asked to write down their negative experiences on paper, then tear it up and throw it away. The other group was asked to keep these notes. The authors of the study recorded the results: the first group completely lost their feeling of anger, while the second group only experienced a slight decrease.
