For creating lawns, it is recommended to use grass species with fine and delicate leaves, such as meadow grass, red fescue, and meadow fescue, perennial ryegrass, white and common field grass, as well as white clover.
The following grass mixtures are recommended for lawns:
I. Decorative lawn that tolerates light shade well (per 1 m2). In alkaline soils: 6 g red fescue; 1 g meadow grass. In acidic soils: 6 g red fescue; 0.5 g field grass.
II. Lawn resistant to trampling, for fertile humus-rich areas (e.g., sports and playgrounds): 5 g meadow grass; 2 g red fescue; 0.5 g white clover.
III. Lawn resistant to trampling, located in sunny open areas, on less fertile sandy soil: 2 g sheep fescue; 2 g red fescue; 2 g meadow grass; 0.5 g white clover.
IV. Decorative lawn resistant to trampling, on medium-fertility soil, that tolerates partial shade: 4 g red fescue; 1 g meadow grass; 1 g common field grass; 0.5 g white clover.
