There are two methods for propagating mint at home — using seeds or cuttings.
- The most effective way to grow mint on a windowsill is from cuttings, as they take root faster and start to grow actively, - shares florist and gardener Olga VEREMEYCHIK.
- Both top and bottom cuttings can be used. In the first case, the top of the plant is cut off at 8-10 cm, while in the second case, a part of the rhizome or the entire root is taken if it is small. It is better to pre-sprout the top cuttings in a container with water or moist sand.
