How to Quickly Prepare Delicious Cabbage Rolls

Cabbage rolls are a popular dish often served at festive tables.

Cabbage rolls are liked by many, but their preparation can require certain efforts. Not every novice cook can handle this task.

An alternative recipe comes to the rescue in such cases, which does not require much effort and is perfect for lunch or dinner. All family members will definitely ask for this dish to be made again.

To start, prepare all the necessary components:

  • onion and carrot — 1 each;
  • rice — 200 g;
  • cabbage — 500 g;
  • minced meat — 500 g;
  • pepper — 1;
  • egg — 1;
  • tomato paste and sour cream — 1 tbsp;
  • salt, coriander — 1 tsp;
  • water — 300 ml.

Recipe for Preparation

First, boil the rice until half-cooked. Chop the vegetables, and sauté the onion and carrot in a pan.

In a deep bowl, mix the rice, cabbage, sautéed vegetables, and minced meat. Then add the egg, salt, and spices.

From the resulting mixture, form fluffy patties and fry them in a preheated pan.

After that, place the cabbage rolls in a baking dish, sprinkle with the remaining sautéed vegetables, and pour over a mixture of tomato paste, water, and sour cream. The liquid should completely cover the dish.

Bake the cabbage rolls in the oven for 40 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
