Ingredients:
Ground beef - 450 g
Onion - 1/2 pc.
Oat flakes - 1/4 cup
Garlic - 2 cloves
Egg - 1 pc.
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp.
Salt, pepper to taste
Cranberries - 350 g
Orange juice - 1/2 cup
Honey - 1/3 cup
Chili sauce or hot ketchup - 1/2 cup
Fresh parsley - for serving
Cooking method:
1. Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil.
2. Grind the oat flakes into flour using a blender.
3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground oat flakes, egg, tomato paste, pressed garlic, and finely chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Form small meatballs and place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 15–17 minutes.
5. Prepare the sauce. Blend the cranberries in a blender. In a small saucepan, combine the cranberries, orange juice, honey, and chili sauce. Mix well and simmer over low heat, stirring, until the sauce reduces slightly. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Place the cooked meatballs on a serving platter and generously drizzle with cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve.
