Baked Stuffed Tomatoes in Arabic Style

We all know that usually only peppers are stuffed with meat, but today we will tell you how to prepare appetizing stuffed tomatoes in Arabic style. This dish looks very impressive and attractive.

 

Although preparing stuffed tomatoes in Arabic style requires certain time and effort, the final result will surely delight you.

Ingredients:

750 g minced meat
2 kg large tomatoes
1 grated onion
3 green peppers
2 red peppers
1 tbsp tomato paste
salt, black pepper — to taste
cumin
oil

Preparation:

1. In a deep bowl or pot, combine the meat, onion, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Mix thoroughly and knead all the ingredients.

2. Cut the tomatoes into three parts, not cutting all the way through, so that the wedges remain together and there is space to place the filling between them.

3. Fill the gaps between the tomato wedges with the meat filling.

4. Place the tomatoes in a baking dish, previously greased with oil. On top, place the peppers, which can also be stuffed.

5. Dissolve the tomato paste in a glass of water and pour this mixture over the tomatoes.

6. Bake the tomatoes at 180 degrees for 30 minutes, then increase the temperature to 250 degrees and leave for another 10 minutes.

7. Serve this dish hot. You can also get creative and sprinkle the stuffed tomatoes with cheese or add other ingredients to your taste!
