1. BAKED POTATO WITH FETA, WALNUTS, AND SAGE

The combination of nuts and cheese with the familiar baked potato is something new and amazing. This is exactly the case when simple ingredients can create a culinary masterpiece.

Ingredients:

5-6 medium-sized potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
30 g (1 bunch) sage
50 g feta cheese (can be replaced with blue cheese or cottage cheese)
½ cup walnuts
salt, pepper to taste

Preparation:

1. Wash the unpeeled potatoes thoroughly and cut them into medium-sized cubes or wedges.

2. Pre-peel the walnuts and roast them in the oven (about 10 minutes).

3. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Place the cut potatoes on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste or add your favorite spices.

4. Bake the potatoes in the oven for 30 minutes. Five minutes before the end of cooking, sprinkle the potatoes with sage and leave in the oven for another 5 minutes.

5. Before serving, sprinkle the finished potatoes with cubes of feta cheese and walnuts. Feta cheese can be replaced with blue cheese or cottage cheese.

2. POTATO WITH PAPRIKA AND CHILI PEPPER

This recipe is perfect for lovers of spicy dishes — potatoes seasoned with paprika and chili pepper. Such potatoes will make an excellent side dish for steaks or grilled meat. Get ready for a vibrant flavor!

Ingredients:

3-4 large potatoes
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
1.5 teaspoons paprika
½ teaspoon ground chili pepper

Preparation:

1. Wash the unpeeled potatoes, dry them, and cut them into wedges (long thick slices).

2. Preheat the oven to 220 °C. Place the cut potatoes on a baking sheet.
Drizzle the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika and ground chili pepper. A sieve can be used for even distribution.

3. Bake the potatoes for about 15 minutes, then flip each slice to the other side for even browning and bake for another 10-15 minutes.

3. FRIED POTATOES WITH PARMESAN

Appetizing potatoes with a crispy cheese crust will please both adults and children. Serve it as a main dish, a side dish for meat, or as a snack while watching a movie, replacing chips or popcorn.

Ingredients:

1 kg of potatoes
4 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation:

Peel the potatoes and cut them into elongated slices (julienne). Wash the potatoes in salted water until they become soft, then dry them.

Add grated Parmesan to the olive oil and mix well. Pour the mixture into a cold frying pan (while the gas is still off) and add the potatoes. Mix well so that each piece of potato is coated in oil and cheese. Add salt to taste.

Then turn on the gas and fry the potatoes for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

4. POTATO WITH BROCCOLI AND BACON IN CHEESE SAUCE

This exquisite recipe will leave no one indifferent. Tender cheese sauce, baked potatoes, broccoli, and bacon — this combination is one you will definitely appreciate and prepare more than once.

Ingredients:

6 medium-sized potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ cup melted butter
¼ cup flour
cheddar cheese
4 slices of bacon
1 ¼ cups chopped broccoli, steamed
salt, pepper

Preparation:

1. Wash the potatoes and cut them in half. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

2. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, then bake for about 25-30 minutes.

3. While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the cheese sauce. Steam the broccoli and cut it into small pieces. Cut the bacon into cubes and set aside.

4. In a small saucepan, pour in the milk and heat it over low heat.

5. In another saucepan, melt the butter and add the flour, stirring constantly until a thick paste forms (about 1-2 minutes).

6. Then pour the warm milk into the paste, continuing to stir over low heat. When the milk and paste become homogeneous, add grated cheese, salt, and pepper, and stir until the cheese melts. Finally, mix the sauce with the broccoli and bacon.

7. Pour the finished potatoes with cheese sauce and serve immediately. The finished dish can be sprinkled with green onions.

5. POTATO BALLS WITH CHEESE AND BACON

Crispy potato balls with cheesy filling and bacon will make an excellent snack and will be liked even by the smallest gourmets. This dish is perfect for a party or a home movie night and will surprise your friends and family with its originality.

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons mashed potatoes
2 eggs
3 slices of bacon
⅔ tablespoon grated cheddar cheese
2 teaspoons finely chopped green onions
½ teaspoon dried ground garlic
salt, black pepper
bread crumbs

Preparation:

1. Peel the potatoes and boil them, then make mashed potatoes.

2. Fry the bacon slices and chop them finely. Grate the cheese. Chop the green onions finely.

3. In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes with bacon, cheese, onions, and ground garlic, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until all ingredients are combined into a homogeneous mass.
In a separate shallow bowl or plate, beat the two eggs. In another plate, prepare the bread crumbs.

4. Form small balls from the potato mixture and roll them first in the egg, then in the bread crumbs. Repeat the procedure until the potato balls are completely covered with crumbs.

5. In a large cast-iron skillet, heat the oil. Fry the potato balls until golden brown on all sides for 2 to 3 minutes. Place the finished balls on a plate with a paper towel to absorb excess fat, then serve.
