A Vegetable Juice Identified as Beneficial for Lowering Blood Pressure

Experts have identified a vegetable juice that helps lower high blood pressure, reports Express.

 

Hypertension, or high blood pressure, increases the likelihood of stroke and heart attack.

The authors of the study, which involved more than two thousand participants, noted that the consumption of raw carrots is associated with lower blood pressure.

“Carrot juice may have a positive effect on blood pressure, and as studies have shown, it lowers both systolic and diastolic pressure,” the specialists claim.

Other vegetables and fruits that help counteract salt, which contributes to increased pressure, are equally beneficial.

“They contain a multitude of vitamins and minerals that support overall health, as well as being low in calories and high in fiber, which positively affects digestion and heart health,” explained British scientists.

To normalize blood pressure, doctors also recommend quitting smoking and alcohol consumption, as well as carefully monitoring one’s diet. Read more:
