Ate, and my blood pressure immediately shot up: forget about hypotension with these tips

Proper nutrition is key in hypotension.

Dr. Zhito shared recommendations for raising low blood pressure at home:

* Varied diet. Your diet should be diverse and balanced, without strict diets.

* Sufficient hydration. Remember that you need to drink at least 30 ml of fluid for every kilogram of body weight, of which at least 50% should be pure water. Other beverages may include unsweetened tea, coffee, chicory, and herbal teas.

* Adequate protein intake. Protein strengthens the cardiovascular system and improves muscle function, which aids in the effective return of blood to the heart.

* Don’t forget about table salt. In moderate amounts, sodium chloride helps retain fluid in the vessels, contributing to increased blood pressure.

* Consume cheese. It is rich in protein, calcium for muscle contraction, and contains tyramine, which improves the tone of blood vessel walls, normalizing pressure.

* Fruits and vegetables. Be sure to include them in your diet! They are an important source of vitamins, minerals, biologically active substances, and carbohydrates.

* Prefer complex carbohydrates. Favor whole grains, vegetables, and cereals (do not overcook grains!).

* Pay attention to pickles. They contain a lot of salt and water, which is ideal for quickly raising blood pressure, especially in combination with tea and cheese.

* Now - about tea and coffee. These beverages, due to their water content, also contribute to increased pressure.

* Herbs. For low blood pressure, eleutherococcus, rhaponticum, and golden root are beneficial. These herbs effectively raise blood pressure and are available at pharmacies.
