Dietitian Mikhail Ginzburg claims that cabbage has anti-cancer properties.
According to the specialist, cabbage of various varieties is especially beneficial for people over 50 years old, as this dietary vegetable promotes rejuvenation and is rich in vitamins and antioxidants.
“It is important to emphasize that cabbage contains substances that protect our body from the development of oncological diseases. In particular, cabbage is high in sulforaphane, which is an anti-cancer component. It is thanks to this that the formation of cancerous foci is prevented,” noted the doctor.
Moreover, the dietitian added that this vegetable reduces the risk of female urogenital diseases.
