- You can create wonderful apple cheese from apples. To the grated apple puree (1 kg), add 500 g of honey and 250 g of sugar, as well as cloves and lemon juice to taste. The mixture should be cooked down until it starts to pull away from the sides of the pot.
To prevent burning, it is better to cook down the mixture in a larger water bath. A piece of dense fabric is soaked in water, laid out on a sieve, the mixture is placed on top, and then it is pressed down to drain the juice.
After that, the cheese is baked in a warm oven until a crust forms. This product can be stored unpackaged.
