The claim that tea bags contain low-quality leaves, dust, and fragments is a myth. Tea production facilities closely monitor cleanliness. This was stated by tea sommelier Dmitry Donskoy.
According to him, tea in bags differs from loose leaf only in its fraction. The bagged product is ground specifically for faster brewing. But it is important to know how to choose a quality product.
"First of all, it should be attached with a string to the bag. The equipment that ties the string to the bag and packages it in a separate package costs a lot of money.
All other teas that have a metal clip are simply of lower quality than the tea itself. Special equipment is used there, and therefore the price is lower," noted the specialist.
