A Boeing 777 aircraft of Turkish Airlines struck the mast radar antenna with its wing at Antalya Airport, reported the airline's representative Yahya Ustun on X.
"The aircraft, operating a flight from Istanbul to Antalya, struck the radar antenna with its right wing while taxiing after landing in Antalya," the company stated. According to the airline, passengers felt a strong impact. Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene.
The aircraft sustained significant damage. All 267 passengers were successfully evacuated.
Preliminary reports indicate that one of them sustained minor injuries, but hospitalization was not required.
Investigations are currently underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.
