On Wednesday in Jekabpils, a driver of a BMW, attempting to evade police, crashed into a bus.
According to the State Police, the initial information indicates that the driver of the BMW was fleeing from a police chase and, on Zilanu Street, lost control and collided with a bus.
Witnesses report that the BMW X5 crashed into the bus after skidding on a turn.
The Emergency Medical Service reported that no one was injured as a result of the collision. Paramedics examined four participants in the incident, but no one required hospitalization.
