From Monday until April 19, an action by the European Traffic Police Network "Roadpol" will be organized in all European Union countries, during which on April 15, police in all participating countries will intensively monitor speed limit compliance, the State Police reported to LETA.
This year, for the 13th time, an action is taking place in the participating countries of the European Traffic Police Network, aimed at drawing attention to the consequences and dangers of exceeding the speed limit for both the driver and other road users.
As part of the action, on April 15, a "24-hour speed control marathon" will be held in all participating countries, during which speed limit compliance will be monitored even more intensively.
