On Sunday morning, a local resident discovered a fragment of a drone on Kalvi beach in Lääne-Viru County.
The beach is located several dozen kilometers from the territory of Russia.
Press secretary of the Estonian Internal Security Service, Marta Tuul, told ERR that this is not about a drone crash, but rather a piece of a wing that the sea washed up on Kalvi beach.
"A local resident found it this morning," Tuul said.
According to preliminary estimates, the find is part of a Ukrainian drone.
As an investigation is currently underway, the Internal Security Service cannot provide additional information about the incident at this time.
It was reported that during a series of strikes by Ukraine on Russian ports around St. Petersburg at the end of March, several Ukrainian drones "strayed" into the territories of the Baltic states and Finland.
