A man was killed in Gulbene on Easter, and three individuals have been detained on suspicion of murder, reported Zane Vaskane, a public relations specialist at the State Police.
On the morning of April 5, the body of a man born in 1972 was discovered in an apartment in Gulbene, showing signs of violent death — with multiple stab wounds and other bodily injuries.
Initial information indicates that the evening before, there was a joint consumption of alcoholic beverages in the apartment.
A criminal process has been initiated by the State Police under the article on murder. An investigation is underway to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
In connection with the incident, three individuals born in 1995, 1988, and 1981 have been detained. The question of applying a preventive measure to the detainees will be decided later.
