The State Police will continue to intensively monitor public order and safety on the roads today, the LETA agency was informed by the police.
The police will operate in an enhanced mode until April 7.
Special attention will be paid to drivers who get behind the wheel while intoxicated or under the influence of other intoxicating substances. Attention will also be given to compliance with the permitted speed limits.
Enhanced checks are planned on both major state and local roads.
