Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda underwent surgery on his forearm after injuring himself at home.
The injury of the Lithuanian president became known on Sunday. His administration then reported that Nausėda sustained a domestic injury at home.
According to the administration, after receiving first aid, Nausėda was sent to the Republican Vilnius University Hospital, where he underwent surgery due to a laceration on his left forearm.
It was planned that after the surgery, the president would stay in the hospital overnight.
On Monday, the president of Lithuania was discharged from the hospital.
