On Sunday, several dozen people were evacuated from residential buildings due to fires, reported the State Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) to the LETA agency.
At 11:34, a call was received on Tiruma Street in Salacgriva, where household items were burning in an apartment on the second floor of a two-story residential building, covering an area of two square meters. Before the arrival of the State Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), three people evacuated from the building.
At 14:43, a call was received on Daugavpils Street in Balvi, where, according to the information received, a fire occurred in a residential building covering an area of 80 square meters. Upon arrival at the scene, it was established that an one-story brick building was burning with open flames. Before the arrival of the SFRS, six people evacuated from the house.
At 17:24, a call was received on Pamatu Street in Gulbene, where an electrical cabinet was on fire in the stairwell of a two-story residential building. Before the arrival of the SFRS, 15 people evacuated from the building.
