The State Police has submitted materials to the prosecutor's office against a man accused of committing sexual violence against a minor girl and four adult women, using a minor in the creation of pornographic materials, possessing child pornography, as well as committing thefts, the State Police reported.
Criminal proceedings were initiated on August 19, 2025, based on a report from parents that an unknown man was photographing their minor daughter in the changing room of a public pool.
On August 27, the police arrested a man born in 1979 for the aforementioned crime, who had previously been convicted of criminal offenses. Upon checking the contents of devices seized from the arrested individual, it was established that other individuals may have also been victims of his illegal actions. On August 29, the suspect was ordered to be detained.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the man would drive his private car to nightclubs in the evenings and offer to take adult women, who were in a state of alcohol intoxication, home.
After the women got into the car, the accused would offer them a drink. When the women fell asleep, he would engage in sexual acts with them and record them on camera. Additionally, he stole belongings from two women. The criminal proceedings have information about four victims, but it is possible that there were more.
During further investigation, another case of sexual violence against a minor was identified, committed in 2016.
Moreover, it was established that the suspect had stored 23 files of child pornography on his device.
After reviewing the circumstances proven in the criminal proceedings, the police appealed to the prosecutor's office to hold the mentioned man criminally liable for nine offenses, including three particularly serious, three serious, and three less serious crimes.
For the most serious of the crimes, the accused faces a prison sentence of five to 15 years if found guilty.
